Easter Tombola

This is our first year hosting an Easter tombola—we have lots of Easter eggs and cute Easter themed toys up for grabs! The tombola will take place either on the playground or in the hall dependent on the weather on the 5th & 6th April. Tickets will be on sale for 50p a ticket or 3 for £1! Please come along and support our latest fundraising event!

Leavers Sweatshirt

As a leaving present to the Year 6s, the PTFA are giving them a leaver’s sweatshirt to remember their happy time at St Andrews. As part of the fundraising for the sweatshirts; Year 6 will be organising and holding a cake sale at school pick up sometime after the SATs are over. Please support them with cake donations and purchases. Please watch the notice board for further details.

Frozen Fridays, our very popular, after school ice-lolly sales will be starting next term. Hopefully the good weather will continue!

17th June – Cromhall Fun Run

12th July – Rags 2 Riches 2nd hand Clothing & Textile Collection

20th July – Cattle Country Year End Party

Continuing with the popular tradition, the PTFA are paying for an end of year party at Cattle Country. This will be on Thursday 20th July from 6-8pm. As usual we will have the indoor play area and outdoor area extending to the fort all to ourselves. Further details to follow.

22nd July – Camping on the school field

2nd September – Cromhall Flower Show

The PTFA are supporting our local Flower Show again this year by hosting the ‘Tea & Cake’ stall. The show is Saturday the 2nd September this year, please keep us in mind over the summer holidays as will need your help with cake donations and serving.

1st October – Tea @ the Lakes

Recent Events

February Fling Thank you!

We raised approximately £190 – thank you to everyone who helped.  We had some lovely feedback about the disco, it’s great knowing the children had a lot of fun!

Book Sale

We raised approximately £24– thank you to everyone who supported the sale, what a great result, can’t believe we sold 120 books!

Cromhall Flower Show tea/cake stall

We raised a total of £332 due to your tasty donations of cakes.  We share this with the Flower Show Committee, who provide us with such a great event. A further £28 was raised on the Monday after school. A big thank you to everyone that helped on the day

Camping in the School Field

The camping at the end of last term was a great success! Thanks to all the enthusiastic supporters—watch this space for another camping evening next summer!

80s Disco – Thank You

A huge thank you to Lisa Bryant and Hannah Banks and those on the PTFA committee who helped organise this fantastic evening. A big thank you to everyone that supported the event which raised in excess of £160!

 Fun Auction – The Royal Oak, Cromhall
The annual Fun Auction is our main fundraiser of the year – last year we raised over £2000! Local businesses and parents give donations – last year our lots included: Ice cream, flea and worm treatment for pets, takeaways, pony riding lessons, flowers, a photography session, a balloon ride, personal training sessions, wine, jewellery, a MOT voucher, cakes, stick insects and face painting – you could promise anything! In previous years we have also had offers for babysitting and ironing!

Auction Raffle
We have over 40 prizes in this year’s raffle which will be drawn at the end of the PTFA Fun Auction on Friday, 27th November.
Prizes range from: pampering products and vouchers, chocolates, coffee and cake vouchers, wine, bags and pickles/chutneys!!
In your book bags you will soon find a strip of raffle tickets (£1/strip) attached to a letter giving the full price list. Please could you sell them to family and friends – more tickets are available if you suddenly start shifting them faster than Lord Sugar’s Apprentices!
There is a prize for the family who sells the most tickets: a big box of Heroes chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco!! Please return all money and tickets – with a name and contact number on each by Friday, 27th November. Thank you!
