8th November – Rags 2 Riches 2nd hand Clothing & Textile Collection
We have organised a pick up of preloved clothing, shoes, linens, towels and accessories for the morning of Wednesday, 8th November. Please have a sort out and bring your items on Wednesday morning at drop off. If you would like them out your way earlier please see Louise Brice (Alyssa & Chloe’s mum!)
Auction Evening – 24th November
Our Auction evening is drawing closer and the PTFA are working hard organising this special event. We would be grateful if you could support our fundraising evening – it will be held at The Royal Oak on the 24th November with a start time of 8pm. We always have a great night, filled with lots of fun and friendly bidding rivalry! We have around 60 lots with items such as: Cattle Country Vouchers, Gifford Circus Mug, Reiki Vouchers, Meal Vouchers, Horse-Racing Tickets, Go-Kart Vouchers & Fuel Vouchers. We will soon be sending out a list of lots and if you are not able to make the evening please place a sealed bid in on any item that takes your fancy! We will have some extra items on our PTFA Facebook page that can be bid on, so keep checking in.
A big thank you to all parents that have donated lots and raffle prizes! Our raffle will take place after the Auction—raffle prizes consist of vouchers, wine, chocolates, games, wallets, bags, pampering products and various other little knick-knacks.
5 strips of raffle tickets (£1/strip) are attached to this letter. Please could you sell them to family and friends – more tickets are available from Mrs Massey, St Andrew’s School Office if you suddenly start shifting them faster than Lord Sugar’s Apprentices!
There is a prize for the family who sells the most tickets: a big box of chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco!
Please return all money and tickets to the school – with a name and contact number on the back of each ticket by Wednesday, 22nd November.

February Fling Thank you!
We raised approximately £190 – thank you to everyone who helped. We had some lovely feedback about the disco, it’s great knowing the children had a lot of fun!
We raised approximately £24– thank you to everyone who supported the sale, what a great result, can’t believe we sold 120 books!
Cromhall Flower Show tea/cake stall
We raised a total of £332 due to your tasty donations of cakes. We share this with the Flower Show Committee, who provide us with such a great event. A further £28 was raised on the Monday after school. A big thank you to everyone that helped on the day
Camping in the School Field
The camping at the end of last term was a great success! Thanks to all the enthusiastic supporters—watch this space for another camping evening next summer!
80s Disco – Thank You
A huge thank you to Lisa Bryant and Hannah Banks and those on the PTFA committee who helped organise this fantastic evening. A big thank you to everyone that supported the event which raised in excess of £160!
Fun Auction – The Royal Oak, Cromhall
The annual Fun Auction is our main fundraiser of the year – last year we raised over £2000! Local businesses and parents give donations – last year our lots included: Ice cream, flea and worm treatment for pets, takeaways, pony riding lessons, flowers, a photography session, a balloon ride, personal training sessions, wine, jewellery, a MOT voucher, cakes, stick insects and face painting – you could promise anything! In previous years we have also had offers for babysitting and ironing!
We have over 40 prizes in this year’s raffle which will be drawn at the end of the PTFA Fun Auction on Friday, 27th November.
Prizes range from: pampering products and vouchers, chocolates, coffee and cake vouchers, wine, bags and pickles/chutneys!!
