Year 5/6 visit to Cromhall Chapel
On Thursday 26th May, Year 5/6 visited Cromhall Chapel as part of our Faith in the Community RE topic. We learned about the history of the Chapel and how the Chapel helps the local area, as well as people in need around the world. We also looked at ways in which the Chapel is accessible for everyone, for example by providing wheelchairs and ramps for people with mobility issues and hearing aid loops for those with hearing difficulties. In addition, we visited the graveyard and learned about some of the people buried there and also discussed why the Bible is important to Christians. Finally, we decorated biscuits in the shape of fish, which is a symbol of Christianity.
