Our Theological Vision & Values

"Roots to Grow, Wings to fly."

"They will soar on wings like Eagles." Isaiah 40:31

The Roots of our school community nurture, support and challenge us to Grow to be the best version of ourselves.

The Wings of faith, strength and resilience allow us to Soar freely and flourish, now and in the future.

We believe that every member of our community is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), giving each person inherent dignity and worth. This underpins our commitment to nurture, support and challenge all to become the best version of themselves.

The roots of our community reflect the Christian calling to provide strong foundations of love, guidance and belonging. Like a tree planted by water (Jeremiah 17:7–8), we are rooted in faith, values and relationships that sustain growth and stability.

The wings represent the hope, strength and resilience found in God. Inspired by Isaiah 40:31, we empower our pupils to rise above challenges, develop courage and flourish in all aspects of life. This reflects our commitment to enabling all to live life in its fullness (John 10:10).

Following a period of instability, our vision was renewed in 2024 through collaboration with the whole school community. It reflects a shared commitment to restoration, unity and hope—ensuring that all can grow, flourish and thrive together.

Our vision builds on our original foundation (Proverbs 22:6), recognising the importance of guiding children in ways that shape their character and future, and creating a nurturing environment where they can flourish both now and, in the years, to come.

Our Christian Values

Our original school vision was:

'Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.' Proverbs 22:6
